The Other Side of the Family

I just had a friend e-mail this to me.  Made me laugh, I’ve seen it before so I’m sure several of you who read this blog have as well.  I think it is worth posting on the blog though.

A little girl asked her mother, ‘How did the human race appear?’ The mother answered, ‘God made Adam and Eve and they had children and so was all mankind made.’

Two days later the girl asked her father the same question. The father answered, ‘Many years ago there were monkeys from which the human race evolved.’

The confused girl returned to her mother and said, ‘Mom, how is it possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and Papa said they developed from monkeys?’

The mother answered, ‘Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your father told you about his.’

Who knows where those in-laws come from!

Political Waterboarding

I have Matt Lewis to blame for posting this first.  I am going to apologize in advance.  I am just thankful that it wasn’t officially sponsored by her campaign.

I think the best thing her campaign could do is to tell this person to stop.  It can’t be helping, it only hurts.  Perhaps maybe sticking her opponents into a room condemned to watch this video over and over again until they support her… that may be a good strategy.

This is forever seared into my mind, and thought I would share it with you.

This is crazy

Currently in Des Moines it is 10 degrees Fahrenheit , and the windchill is -3.  Currently in Barrow, AK it is 19 degrees Fahrenheit with a windchill of 2.  So it is warmer on the Arctic Ocean right now.  This really bites.  What’s worse is that it is warmer today than it has been for a couple of days…. ok I’m done whining.
