Back when I was a kid it was a really, really big deal. Not so much now. Pretty typical day. I’ve gotten a few e-cards and birthday greetings on my wall on Facebook. My kids made cards for me and that was nice. They then tried to get out of doing school (we home school) thinking it was like a national holiday or something. I told them if I have to work, they have to do school.
I was born on this glorious day back in 1972… which means I’m 36 (I’ll spare you from having to do the math). I thought I would give those of you sages in the blogosphere to give me seasoned advice for my next year of life.
If you desire to send gifts… cash is nice (just kidding).
I’ve received a number of e-cards, but being a dog lover one sent from a couple of co-workers is just plain torture.
